Campaign Statement:

Greetings Members, My name is Lisa Ray Diggs and I am humbly asking for your support as I announce my candidacy for President of the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale’s Board of Directors. I am a Founding Member who has served this organization since its inception. I am committed to the mission and vison of this organization and would like to continue to serve this organization as your President. I have served as the Treasurer, Vice President and Co-Chair of the Special Events Committee. For the past three years, I have worked cohesively with our current President, Dr. Takeisha Davis, on ensuring that we continue to maintain professionalism in beloved organization and make decisions that will ensure MKFF will be here for many decades. In order to maintain that viability and sustainability, we must have strong Leadership, someone with experience leading multi-faceted organizations that not only understands the business but also the social dynamics of MKFF. Also someone who is active leader in our community. I know that it is imperative that MKFF is financially sound in order to be able to produce the marvelous productions that we all have grown accustom to enjoying.

For 25 years, I worked as the Chief Financial Officer of a multi-million dollar Corporation. Thus, I have a proficient understanding of profitability. Under my tutelage, I promise to focus on creating a path for MKFF to become more financially sustainable. In addition to my financial experience, I have served in many leadership roles including, but not limited to, President and Chair of political organizations. I have developed and nurture relationships in both political and private sectors. Understanding what it takes to create opportunities for the organization to be recognized on a National Level, I will lead with HONESTY, FAIRNESS, TRANPARENCY and SELFLESS SERVICE. I am very diligent, efficient, a self-starter and dedicated to carrying out the vision of MKFF. I am confident that with my experience in contract negotiation, financial management, proven business acumen and leadership skills that I am well equipped to take this historic organization to the next level. Never has it been more important to elect a president that will only act in the best interest of this great organization, all the members and the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale’s bright future.

A vote for me will mean that you are committed to the advancement of the organization, preservation of the organization’s mission and the trusted leadership.

I would like to continue to be a strong voice for the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale. I am humbly asking for your support and vote on Saturday, February 19^th, 2022.
