CANDIDATE FOR MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Campaign Statement:
When a vote is cast, it is a vote for the future, a vote of hope, a vote of ambition, a vote of courage. I urge voters to carefully consider how they want their vote to count. A vote, one of our most powerful assets, should serve to improve things for the better and/or continue to build on the strengths of an organization. The Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale is the strongest it’s ever been and as with all things, it can continue to be even better.
If elected as a member-at-large, I will advocate for MKFF to continue to evolve and elevate as the ideal Carnival krewe in the city of New Orleans – one that stands for respect, fairness, awareness, equality, opportunity, and fun at all times. I bring real-life experience to the Board of Directors as well as intimate knowledge of our rich history. As I have done since our inception, I will continue to serve and work hard to deliver sustainable, transparent and credible policies and procedures.
MKFF deserves board members who will stand in truth and what is right and good for the future of the organization, who will work hard to represent with determination, energy and individuality, and that is who I am. I AM MKFF.
I am proud that the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale's legacy is one that females of all ages, creeds and colors can gravitate to and embrace. Remember, MKFF is more than one parade, one day, once a year. All Hail the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale!
