Campaign Statement:
My name is Zinna Green, and I am interested in becoming the Mystic Krewe of Femme Fatale Board of
Directors Financial Secretary. I have more than thirteen years Professional Accounting experience in
both Profit and Non-Profit organizations including ten years of Payroll for a Non-Profit a sector. My
Professional experience is also coupled with ten years as a Human Resources Director for a Non-Profit
Organization; thus, birthing another necessary balance between the two professions, the Analyst in me.
My Analytical eight years' experience in a Profitable entity encompassed all of my formal experience,
education, and training to help identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and their threats
(Competitions/Strategies). Trend Analysis in its entirety. I’m no stranger to multitasking; I’ve held dual
key responsibilities in transitional times and during Pilot-Program.
The aforementioned Professional Career Leadership experience has provided me the opportunity to
showcase proven positive work experience, various skill assets, including people and communication
skills and abilities. I would like to take a moment and highlight my extensive knowledge and work
experience as a Human Resources Director/Accounting for over ten years. I was the only person
responsible for every aspect of Human Resources including Payroll, Benefits, Team Building, writing and
implementing compliance-based policies and procedures including retentions. I'm experienced in
reconciling bank account(s), key person interacting and performing audits for acquisitions, switching
over to completely new software systems, implementing timekeeping software (payroll aid) and
providing research with integrity via source documents etc. per the nature of material said matter. I am
an innovative leader and not afraid of deadlines. I am a person that remains teachable for easy
transitions of change in the workplace. I am a problem solver that embraces working effectively
efficiently with proven positive measures.
Since becoming a Member of MKFF in 2019, I have had the privilege of serving my Femme Sisters on
various Committees as follows; Community Outreach/Engagement, Membership, Fundraising, and
Social. I serve as assigned with said goal in mind. As we learn to live through COVID19 Pandemic the
Committees have also had to adapt. Keeping mindful of our safety, the business of MKFF continues in a
modified way. It was during this time I was assigned to Membership and Fundraising Committees to
support the Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.) Sub-Committees developing, writing and submitting
said writings to our Chairwomen. This is a portion of a whole collective of S.O.P.'s being developed
wholly for us by us. Membership Committee is a multifaceted Committee; another development is the
Femme Liaison (sub-committee) which I've had the privilege to Lead, write and submit all thoughts and
doable findings to our Membership Chairwomen. Being able to serve is an honor because it's in the
serving-volunteer a Femme like myself can find their niche, purpose and or possibly tap into extended
possibilities.
